There are actually five major oceans in the world, not four:

1. Pacific Ocean: The largest and deepest ocean.

2. Atlantic Ocean: The second-largest ocean.

3. Indian Ocean: The third-largest ocean.

4. Southern Ocean: Surrounding Antarctica.

5. Arctic Ocean: Located around the North Pole.
