  • Copper Canyon Depth: Exploring Mexico's Grand Canyon
The Copper Canyon, also known as the Barranca del Cobre in Spanish, is a system of canyons in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. It is actually a group of canyons, not just one, and the deepest of these is the Barranca del Cobre, which reaches a depth of 1,600 meters (5,249 feet).

This is even deeper than the Grand Canyon, which reaches a depth of 1,857 meters (6,093 feet) at its deepest point.
