  • Uranium Deposits in Argentina: Locations & Mining Regions
Uranium deposits in Argentina are primarily found in the following locations:

    * Northern Patagonia: The most significant deposits are in the Sierra Pintada District in the province of Río Negro. This region contains the El Condor mine, the largest uranium mine in Argentina. Other deposits in this area include the Los Adobes and Cerro Solo deposits.

    * Northern Argentina: Deposits are also found in the provinces of Salta, Jujuy, and Catamarca, primarily in the Puna region, a high plateau in the Andes mountains. This area contains the Don Otto, Sierra Pintada, and Cerrito Colorado deposits, among others.

Note: While uranium deposits are present in these locations, not all of them are currently being mined. The exact locations of active mines and other uranium exploration sites are considered commercially sensitive information and may not be publicly available.
