  • Arkansas Size: Understanding Its East-West & North-South Dimensions
Arkansas is not measured in terms of "width" like a flat object. It's a state with varying distances across it depending on where you measure.

To give you a sense of its size:

    * East to west: The widest point of Arkansas is about 275 miles across.

    * North to south: The longest distance north to south is about 250 miles.

So, it depends on what you mean by "wide"!
