  • Trinidad & Tobago: Understanding Mud Volcanoes, Not True Volcanoes
    Trinidad and Tobago is an island nation, not a continent, and does not have any volcanoes.

    While there are some geological formations that resemble volcanic cones, they are actually mud volcanoes formed by the expulsion of gas and mud from the earth's surface. These are not true volcanoes and do not pose a threat of eruption.
