The largest unexplored area on Earth is the deep sea. The ocean depths are home to a vast array of undiscovered species and ecosystems, as well as many geological features yet to be explored. Despite recent advancements in technology, including deep-diving submersibles and remote sensing, the majority of the deep sea remains unexplored.
