  • Cambrian Period Continents: Where Were They Located?
Most of the continents were located in the Southern Hemisphere during the Cambrian period. This was due to the supercontinent of Gondwana, which consisted of present-day South America, Africa, Madagascar, India, Antarctica, and Australia. Gondwana was located near the South Pole, and the remaining landmasses were scattered in the Northern Hemisphere.
