The reaction force to the Earth's pull on the rock is the rock's pull on the Earth. According to Newton's third law of motion, for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. So, while the Earth pulls down on the rock with a certain amount of force, the rock simultaneously pulls up on the Earth with the same amount of force.
