Coco peat, also known as coconut coir, has a variable density depending on its moisture content. When dry, coco peat has a low density of around 50-60 kg/m³. As the moisture content increases, the density of coco peat also increases. Fully saturated coco peat can have a density of up to 150-200 kg/m³.
On average, the density of dry coco peat is around 60 kg/m³, while the density of wet coco peat ranges from 100 to 150 kg/m³.
