  • Rare Two-Headed Tortoise, Janus, Captivates Visitors in Ukraine
A two-headed tortoise has gone on show at a zoo in Ukraine.

The tortoise, which has been named Janus, was born with two heads, two mouths and two necks.

Janus is currently living in a terrarium at the Feldman Ecopark zoo in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and is drawing crowds of visitors.

The tortoise is believed to be around 10 years old, and zookeepers say it has been doing well since arriving at the zoo.

Janus is able to eat and move around normally, and they seem to be in good health.

Two-headed tortoises are rare, and Janus is believed to be only one of a handful in the world.

The condition is thought to be caused by a genetic mutation.

Janus's unique condition has made them a bit of a celebrity and they have been featured in several news articles and television shows.
