  • Bronze Age Migration: Genetic Evidence of Pontic Steppe Population Movement to Europe
Genetic data suggests that both men and women migrated from the Pontic steppe to Europe during the Bronze Age, around 5,000 years ago. While there may have been some differences in the proportions of men and women involved, it is generally believed that this was a large-scale migration event that involved entire communities, including both males and females.
