  • Tectonic Plates Beyond Earth: Exploring Planetary Geology
Earth is not the only planet with tectonic plates. Venus also has tectonic plates, although they are not as active as Earth's. Mars also has evidence of past tectonic activity, but it is currently not geologically active. Some of the moons in our solar system also have tectonic plates, such as Jupiter's moon Europa and Saturn's moon Enceladus. Beyond our solar system, other planets or moons may also have tectonic plates, but we do not currently have the technology to observe them.
