    Synthesis and Modification:

    * Ribosomes: While ribosomes are not technically organelles, they use ATP for protein synthesis.

    * Endoplasmic reticulum (ER): The ER uses ATP for protein folding, modification, and transport.

    * Golgi apparatus: The Golgi uses ATP for processing, sorting, and packaging proteins and lipids.

    * Lysosomes: These organelles use ATP to power their enzymatic breakdown of cellular waste and materials.

    * Peroxisomes: These organelles use ATP for various metabolic processes, including detoxification.

    Other Cellular Functions:

    * Mitochondria: While mitochondria generate ATP, they also use ATP to power other processes within themselves, such as maintaining their own internal membrane potential.

    * Nucleus: The nucleus uses ATP for DNA replication and transcription.

    * Cytoplasm: Cellular processes like active transport across cell membranes require ATP.
