    Electricity, generated by the motion of electrons, powers modern society. Accurate measurement of voltage, current, and resistance is essential for diagnosing electrical circuits and ensuring safety. A Fluke multimeter is a reliable, industry‑standard tool that offers precise readings and robust construction.

    Step 1: Attach the Probes

    Insert the red probe into the V/Ω terminal and the black probe into the COM terminal. No additional tools are required; the probes are designed for quick, secure connection.

    Step 2: Verify Functionality with the Resistance Mode

    Power on the meter and rotate the mode dial to the Ω setting. Short the probes together; the LCD should read approximately 0.5 Ω or less. If the reading is higher, check the probes and connections.

    Step 3: Measure Voltage, Current, or Resistance

    Rotate the dial to the desired mode: V for voltage, I for current, or Ω for resistance. For voltage, place the probes across the component or node. For current, insert the probes in series, ensuring the meter’s current rating is not exceeded. The display will show the measurement in real time.

    Safety reminder: Always respect the maximum input limits of the multimeter and disconnect power before making changes to the circuit.
