  • LED Current Flow: Understanding Anode and Cathode
LEDs don't emit current from any leg. Here's why:

    * LEDs are diodes: They allow current to flow in one direction only.

    * Current flow: Current flows through the LED, not out of it.

    * Light emission: The LED emits light when current flows through it, not from a specific leg.

The two legs of an LED are:

    * Anode: The positive leg, where current enters the LED.

    * Cathode: The negative leg, where current exits the LED.

So, the direction of current flow determines the direction of light emission, but the light doesn't come from either leg specifically.
