    1. Resistance:

    2. Voltage:

    * Applications: Voltage is used to power devices and control the amount of current flowing through them.

    3. Switches:

    * Concept: Switches act as a gate, either allowing or blocking the flow of current.

    * Components: Mechanical switches, electronic switches (transistors, MOSFETs), and relays are examples.

    * Applications: Used to turn devices on/off, control the flow of current in circuits, and create logic gates in digital systems.

    4. Inductors:

    * Concept: Inductors resist changes in current flow. They store energy in a magnetic field.

    * Components: Coils of wire are the basic building blocks of inductors.

    * Applications: Inductors are used in filtering circuits, power supplies, and creating resonant circuits.

    5. Capacitors:

    * Concept: Capacitors store electrical energy in an electric field. They can block DC current but pass AC current.

    * Components: Capacitors consist of two conductive plates separated by an insulator.

    * Applications: Used in filtering circuits, timing circuits, and energy storage systems.

    6. Transistors:

    * Concept: Transistors are semiconductor devices that act as controlled switches or amplifiers. They can amplify or switch electrical signals.

    * Components: Different types of transistors (BJTs, MOSFETs) exist, each with specific characteristics.

    * Applications: Transistors are the fundamental building blocks of modern electronics, used in amplifiers, oscillators, and digital circuits.

    7. Diodes:

    * Concept: Diodes allow current to flow in one direction only.

    * Components: Different types of diodes exist, including rectifiers, LEDs, and Zener diodes.

    * Applications: Diodes are used to rectify AC current, create voltage references, and emit light (LEDs).

    8. Integrated Circuits (ICs):

    * Concept: ICs are miniature electronic circuits that integrate multiple components (resistors, transistors, capacitors, etc.) on a single chip.

    * Applications: ICs are used in a vast array of electronic devices, from smartphones and computers to automotive systems and industrial controllers.

    Understanding how these components control electric current is crucial for designing and analyzing electronic circuits.
