  • Voltage vs. Current: Understanding Electrical Potential & Electron Flow
Voltage is not the flow of electrons through a wire or conductor. Voltage is the difference in electrical potential between two points in a circuit. It is a measure of the electrical pressure that causes electrons to flow. Current, on the other hand, is the flow of electrons through a circuit. It is measured in amperes (A) and is determined by the voltage and the resistance in the circuit.
