  • ESP: Understanding Extrasensory Perception - Types & How It Works
ESP is an abbreviation for extrasensory perception, which is the ability to perceive information or events without the use of the recognized sensory channels. ESP includes four areas of phenomena:

    - Telepathy: The ability to read the minds of others.

    - Clairvoyance: The ability to see events that are occurring at a distance or to know things that are not apparent to normal sight.

    - Precognition: The ability to know the future.

    - Retrocognition: The ability to know past events without relying on memory or historical records.

Despite numerous attempts, ESP has never been scientifically proven to exist.
