A Texas Instruments graphing calculator can become a portable reference for chemistry students and teachers alike. By installing a dedicated Periodic Table app, you eliminate the need for a physical copy and access element data directly from your calculator’s screen.
Download TI-Connect for Windows, the official Texas Instruments software that syncs apps and data between your calculator and PC.
Launch the installer, choose your preferred language, and accept the User Agreement.
Select “Save” instead of “Run” when prompted, and store the installer on your desktop. Close your web browser afterward.
Locate the file named ticonnect_eng.exe on your desktop and double‑click it.
Proceed through the installation wizard by clicking “Next” or “Yes” on each screen, accept the Software License Agreement, and let the program install. Restart your computer once the installation finishes.
Connect your graphing calculator to the PC using a TI Connectivity Cable. A standard Mini‑A to Mini‑B USB cable works with the TI‑84 Plus, TI‑84 Plus Silver Edition, and TI‑89 Titanium.
Navigate to the Periodic Table App page. Click “License” to accept the agreement, then click “Periodic Table (English)” to download the app. The page will redirect you to the download center.
Save the downloaded file to your desktop. When the file appears, drag it onto the TI‑Connect icon on your desktop. On your calculator, press “Apps” to locate and launch the Periodic Table.
