  • HCl & H₂SO₄ Mixture: What's it Called? Properties & Composition
There's no specific name for a mixture of hydrochloric acid (HCl) and sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄). It's simply a mixture of the two acids.

Here's why there's no special name:

    * No new compound is formed: When you mix HCl and H₂SO₄, they don't react to create a new chemical compound. They simply remain as separate acids in solution.

    * The properties of the mixture depend on the ratio: The properties of the mixture will depend on the relative amounts of HCl and H₂SO₄ present.

Important Note: Mixing these acids together is generally not a good idea, especially if you don't have a good understanding of chemical reactions. The reaction can be exothermic (produce heat) and potentially dangerous.
