  • Bromine States of Matter: Liquid & Gas at Room Temperature - Element Properties
Bromine exists in two states at room temperature:

    1. Liquid: Bromine is a dark reddish-brown liquid at room temperature. This is its most common state.

    2. Gas: Bromine readily evaporates into a reddish-brown gas at room temperature.

It's important to note that bromine does not exist in a solid state at room temperature. It only solidifies at temperatures below -7.2°C (-19°F).
