  • Boyle's Law: Understanding the Relationship Between Gas Pressure and Volume
    The relationship between the pressure and volume of gases is given by Boyle's Law.

    Boyle's Law states that:

    * At a constant temperature, the volume of a given mass of gas is inversely proportional to its pressure.

    This means that as the pressure of a gas increases, its volume decreases proportionally, and vice versa. Mathematically, this can be represented as:

    P₁V₁ = P₂V₂

    Where:

    * P₁ = Initial pressure

    * V₁ = Initial volume

    * P₂ = Final pressure

    * V₂ = Final volume
