    The reactants used during photosynthesis are:

    * Carbon dioxide (CO2): Taken in from the atmosphere through tiny pores called stomata on the leaves.

    * Water (H2O): Absorbed from the soil through the roots.

    * Sunlight: Provides the energy needed to drive the reaction.

    These reactants are converted into glucose (a type of sugar) and oxygen (O2) through a series of chemical reactions.
