  • pH Scale Explained: Understanding Acidity (pH 2 vs. pH 3)
    A pH of 2 is more acidic than a pH of 3.

    Here's why:

    * The pH scale is logarithmic. This means that each whole number change represents a tenfold difference in acidity.

    * Lower pH values indicate higher acidity. A pH of 2 is ten times more acidic than a pH of 3.
