  • Shape-Shifting Substances: Exploring Liquids, Gases & Solids
Many substances can change their shape! Here are a few examples:

Liquids: Water, juice, oil, and honey are all liquids. They take the shape of their container.

Gases: Air, oxygen, and carbon dioxide are gases. They also take the shape of their container.

Solids: Some solids, like clay, playdough, and wax, can be molded into different shapes.

    Other Examples:

    * Metals: Metals like gold and silver can be hammered or pressed into different shapes.

    * Plastics: Many plastics are flexible and can be shaped.

    * Rubber: Rubber is known for its elasticity, allowing it to stretch and return to its original shape.

It's important to note that some substances change their shape more easily than others. For example, it's easier to mold playdough than it is to mold a rock.
