    However, there are some situations where gases are used in pneumatic systems:

    * Safety: Gases pose less risk of fire and explosion compared to certain hydraulic fluids.

    * Cost-effectiveness: Pneumatic systems are generally cheaper to manufacture and maintain than hydraulic systems.
