  • Dew Point Temperature: Understanding Air Saturation
The temperature at which air becomes saturated is called the dew point.

    Here's why:

    * Saturation: When air reaches its dew point, it can no longer hold any more water vapor.

    * Condensation: As the air cools further, the excess water vapor condenses into liquid water, forming dew, fog, or clouds.

So, the dew point is the temperature at which condensation begins.
