There are two main types of vaporization:
* Evaporation: This happens when a liquid changes into a gas at the surface of the liquid. It occurs at temperatures below the boiling point and is a relatively slow process.
* Boiling: This happens when a liquid changes into a gas throughout the entire liquid. It occurs at the boiling point of the liquid and is a much faster process than evaporation.
Both evaporation and boiling are examples of endothermic processes, meaning they require energy input to occur.
