    Na₃N is the ionic compound sodium nitride.

    Here's why:

    * Na represents sodium, which is a Group 1 element and forms a +1 cation (Na⁺).

    * N represents nitrogen, which is a Group 15 element and forms a -3 anion (N³⁻).

    To form a neutral compound, three sodium ions (3 x +1 = +3) are needed to balance the charge of one nitride ion (-3).
