  • Lead(II) Hydroxide Color: Understanding Its Appearance and Decomposition
    Lead(II) hydroxide (Pb(OH)₂), is white in color when freshly precipitated.

    However, it tends to decompose upon standing in air, forming yellow lead(II) oxide (PbO). This is why you might sometimes see a yellowish tinge to lead(II) hydroxide.
