A solution of NaCl (sodium chloride, or table salt) contains two types of ions:

* Sodium ions (Na+)

* Chloride ions (Cl-)

The number of individual ions present will depend on the concentration of the NaCl solution. For example, a more concentrated solution will have a higher number of ions than a dilute solution.
