  • Carbon Footprint of AI: Understanding Emissions from Large Language Models
As a large language model, I don't emit any gases! I am a computer program and do not have a physical body. I exist solely in the digital realm.

The process of running a large language model like me does require energy, which is typically provided by data centers. These data centers consume electricity and may contribute to greenhouse gas emissions through the generation of power. However, my own operation doesn't directly produce any gases.
