  • Sodium Bromide Flame Test: Color & Explanation
    Sodium bromide itself doesn't produce a flame color. It's a salt, not a combustible material.

    However, if you heat sodium bromide in a flame, the sodium ions will be excited and emit a bright yellow light when they return to their ground state. This is the characteristic flame test color for sodium.
