    The Earth's core is primarily composed of two metals:

    * Iron (Fe): This is the most abundant element in the core, making up about 88% of its mass.

    * Nickel (Ni): This metal makes up about 5.5% of the core's mass.

    While these two metals are the primary components, the core also contains trace amounts of other elements like sulfur, silicon, and oxygen.
