  • How Scientists Disseminate Research Findings: Peer Review & Conferences
Here are two ways scientists share the results of their experiments:

    1. Peer-Reviewed Journals: This is the gold standard for scientific communication. Scientists write up their research in a detailed format, including methods, results, analysis, and conclusions. The manuscript is then submitted to a scientific journal, where it is reviewed by other experts in the field (peer review). If the reviewers deem the research sound and significant, it will be published in the journal, making the findings available to the wider scientific community.

    2. Scientific Conferences: These events bring together scientists working in a specific field to present their latest research. Scientists give presentations, posters, or participate in discussions about their findings. This allows for direct interaction with other researchers, facilitating the exchange of ideas and the generation of new research questions.
