H₂O vs. H₂O: Understanding the Chemical Formula for Water
The chemical name of HOH is water.
While HOH is a technically correct way to represent the chemical formula, it's more commonly written as H₂O. Both represent the same molecule: two hydrogen atoms bonded to one oxygen atom.
