  • Liquid Elements: Exploring the Only Two Liquids on the Periodic Table
That's a bit of a trick question! The periodic table organizes elements, not liquids.

    Here's why:

    * Elements are the building blocks of matter: The periodic table lists all known elements.

    * Liquids are states of matter: A substance can be a liquid, solid, or gas depending on its temperature and pressure.

Two elements are liquids at room temperature:

    1. Bromine (Br): A reddish-brown liquid with a strong, unpleasant odor.

    2. Mercury (Hg): A silvery-white liquid, also known as quicksilver.

Important Note: Many other elements can become liquids at higher temperatures!
