Here's why:
* Mercury (Hg) is the only metal that is liquid at room temperature.
* Gallium (Ga) has a melting point just above room temperature, so it can be a liquid on a warm day.
* Cesium (Cs) and Francium (Fr) are also liquid at room temperature, but they are highly reactive and not commonly encountered in their pure form.
So, while most metals are solid at room temperature, there are a few exceptions.
