There are two main types of vaporization:

* Evaporation: This occurs at the surface of a liquid and happens at temperatures below the boiling point.

* Boiling: This occurs throughout the liquid and happens at the boiling point, where the vapor pressure of the liquid equals the surrounding atmospheric pressure.
