  • Photosynthesis: Understanding Oxygen Production and Byproducts
    Photosynthesis doesn't really produce "waste products" in the traditional sense. Instead, it produces oxygen as a byproduct, which is released into the atmosphere.

    While water is also involved in the process, it's not really a waste product. It's both a reactant (used in the light-dependent reactions) and a product (produced in the light-independent reactions).
