  • From Vapor to Ice: Understanding the Water's Solidification Process
Water doesn't change directly from a gas (water vapor) to a solid (ice). It goes through a two-step process:

    1. Condensation: Water vapor in the air cools down and changes into liquid water droplets, forming clouds or dew.

    2. Freezing: The liquid water then further cools down to a temperature below its freezing point (0°C or 32°F), turning into ice.

So, the process is gas (water vapor) -> liquid (water) -> solid (ice).
