  • Commonly Supplied Gases in Compressed Form for Home Use
The two most common gases supplied in compressed form to homes are:

    1. Propane (C3H8): Used primarily for cooking and heating. It's often stored in large tanks outside the home.

    2. Natural Gas (CH4): Also used for cooking and heating, but it's typically delivered through underground pipelines. While not stored in compressed form at the home, it is delivered at a high pressure and then regulated for use.

While not as common, some homes may also receive compressed oxygen (O2) for medical purposes.
