  • Nonmetals in Coca-Cola: A Look at Carbon, Oxygen & Hydrogen
Coca-Cola is a complex mixture, but here are 3 nonmetals found in it:

    1. Carbon (C): This is the backbone of all the sugars, acids, and flavorings in Coca-Cola.

    2. Oxygen (O): Oxygen is present in water, sugars, and various other ingredients.

    3. Hydrogen (H): Hydrogen is also present in water, sugars, and some of the acids.

While Coca-Cola doesn't contain many metals, it does contain small amounts of phosphorus (P), which is technically a nonmetal but is often considered a metalloid due to its properties.
