  • Nitrogenous Bases: Identifying the Non-Component Element
The element that is not a part of a nitrogenous base is sulfur (S).

Nitrogenous bases are the building blocks of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA). They consist of carbon (C), hydrogen (H), oxygen (O), and nitrogen (N).

Sulfur is found in other biomolecules like amino acids (cysteine and methionine) and some vitamins, but it is not a constituent of nitrogenous bases.
