  • Noble Gases: Properties, Characteristics, and Examples
    The elements in the periodic table that have a completely filled outer subshell are known as noble gases.

    Here's why:

    * Outermost Electron Configuration: Noble gases have a full outer electron shell (or valence shell). This means they have a stable electron configuration, making them very unreactive.

    * Inert Gases: Due to their stable configuration, they are often referred to as "inert gases" because they don't readily form chemical bonds with other elements.

    Examples of Noble Gases:

    * Helium (He)

    * Neon (Ne)

    * Argon (Ar)

    * Krypton (Kr)

    * Xenon (Xe)

    * Radon (Rn)
