    The two main things that go into photosynthesis are:

    1. Carbon dioxide (CO2): Plants take in carbon dioxide from the air through tiny openings called stomata on their leaves.

    2. Water (H2O): Plants absorb water from the soil through their roots.

    These ingredients, along with sunlight, are used by the plant to create glucose (sugar) for energy and oxygen as a byproduct.
