  • Air: Organic or Inorganic? A Scientific Explanation
    Air is an inorganic compound.

    Here's why:

    * Organic compounds are defined as compounds containing carbon (with a few exceptions like carbon dioxide and carbonates).

    * Air is primarily composed of nitrogen (N2), oxygen (O2), and argon (Ar). While trace amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2) are present, it's not the defining component of air.

Therefore, air does not meet the criteria for an organic compound.
