  • Aluminum Foil Composition: What Minerals Are Present?
Aluminum foil is made almost entirely from aluminum, which is a metal, not a mineral.

However, there might be trace amounts of other elements present due to the manufacturing process. These could include:

    * Iron: This is a common impurity in aluminum ore.

    * Silicon: This can be present as a result of the smelting process.

    * Manganese: This can also be present due to the smelting process.

    * Copper: This is sometimes added to improve the conductivity of the aluminum.

These impurities are typically present in very small amounts, and they do not affect the primary use of aluminum foil.
