  • Boiling vs. Evaporation: Understanding Phase Changes
    Boiling involves the same change of state as evaporation.

    Both processes involve a liquid changing into a gas. The key difference is that boiling occurs when the liquid reaches its boiling point and vaporization happens throughout the liquid, while evaporation can occur at temperatures below the boiling point and only happens at the surface of the liquid.
