  • Oxygen Production: Does Paper Contribute?
It's impossible to say how much oxygen a single piece of paper gives us because paper doesn't produce oxygen.

    Here's why:

    * Paper is made from trees: Trees produce oxygen through photosynthesis.

    * Paper is processed: During the process of making paper, the wood is broken down and chemically treated. This removes the original plant material that would have produced oxygen.

Therefore, the paper itself does not provide any oxygen.
